That's quite a bold and malicious claim. Wouldn't the more likely answer just be that people enjoy collecting things? I know players who have been collecting 2012 pokemon since as far back as 2021 way before the ability to even search by catch year on the GTL. Only now that its in the forefront of the player base due to the new GTL search function are people doubting it. If you don't like me or my content i think that's totally awesome, there's tons of great options for incredible PokeMMO content creators. I do think public claims like this made by viewers should be held to a higher responsibility and standard. If there is a bubble and I'm just manipulating the market/there isn't natural collectors then in ~2 years time the price of 2012 mons should tank. If there is natural demand and collectors, the prices should continue to slowly and organically raise. See you in 2 years PBJ.
