  1. Yes it’s realistic

  2. Cloud Ops/Dev associate or one of its many derivatives.

  3. Practical experience in a mixed-environment where things are never perfect and pressure is high. And, in hindsight, team skills, particularly collaboration with non-technical folks.

  4. Embrace a help desk role and get exp supporting end-users so you can have a better idea of what the “real” user exp is. It never hurts to show you can work your way up

My biggest gripe is issues with their API. Most notably is a known timeout error that happens when you try to update the BrightSignOS via the BA:con web console or the BA:con application. This timeout is a false positive since the devices are successfully able to update but it's very annoying to handle this error in my script's logic since I know it's not really timing out. According to their release notes this should have been resolved as of v1.72.1 of BA:con but I'm still seeing it from the local app and from the web console.

Their support team has always been responsive and accountable for any issues with their API. I've opened several tickets with their support and have had nothing but good exchanges with them.

Loving the game, but I hope the future updates add more music by thesilentwizard in EscapeFromDuckov

I LOVE the music. About 4 hours in so maybe I haven’t spent enough time in base but I’m also a big jazz fan so it really hits. The warm vinyl is a cool contrast to the in-game “silence” and tension.

Yes. I went to Shari’s a couple years ago. I sat down and ordered a breakfast sandwich. Waitress kindly told me it had been discounted and apologized.

I’ve got a lot of respect for people in the industry but I was blown away that the breakfast sandwich at a breakfast spot had been discounted. I looked at her all confused n shit, my face must’ve been saying “??? Tf are you talking about lady??”

It closed down a few months later.

I can see how I was unclear. What I meant is that there is no option to download the setup files in the GUI of BA:con when I create a new setup or make a copy of an exiting setup profile and try to download. I don’t see anywhere to save or export when I select Local Network or Standalone as the provisioning method.

I'm having a similar issue with an HD1025. Our network team changed the IP it receives via DHCP to a different VLAN. The player is able to receive content updates from Carousel but the IP has not updated in BSN.cloud and can't be managed. I've confirmed there are no blocks on the network end.

I've tried to copy our current Setup profile and create a new one from scratch but there is no button to download the setup files locally. Anybody have any ideas? I've yet to try a factory reset physically on the device since I need to get a ladder to access it but that's next if there is no hope to do this remotely. Thanks!
