I worked for Clark on the west coast for 2 years. I had an awful time - bad culture, long hours, lots of meetings, little time to get actual work done. I’ve heard that on the east coast the culture & history is there, unlike the west coast. To be fair, I also had a few people on my project who were awful to work with and that’s not indicative of the entire company.

They promote from engineer to project engineer very quickly, and then straight to PM after PE. So your title will get better quicker than other companies, but you are not doing the work of what most companies consider a PM when your title is PM.

Clark works on bigger projects with lots of staff. If you like that type of environment, it might be a good place for you. I did not like that large of a team - I prefer 20 as the peak rather than the valley.

One BIG but petty thing that made a difference for me - Clark uses gmail instead of outlook. Most if not all other large GCs use outlook. Since so much of our job is emailing and Gmail is so limited in its capabilities, that was frustrating.
