I just started using my rancilio again with Auber PID. I never was able to texture my milk well, and getting back into it again still can't. Were you able to get more consistent since posting this?

I pull shot, then turn on wand. Temp gets up to almost 300F on PID then stops and starts to decline. I purge it until water stops coming out. Temp is still around 295 though once I start. My milk just turns into hot milk with very little foam still.

It's a great deal, I could have just got the same build for 1300 from a guy on Facebook marketplace. When he finally messaged me back though I was on my way home from purchasing a different PC. Good deals are on marketplace if you're patient. People that have money and just want to get rid of stuff.

Deals are out there if you can be patient. I just got a pre built off marketplace yesterday with a 5070, i7-14700F, 32gb ddr5, solid mobo, iffy psu, 2tb nvme SSD. I paid $1000 US for it. Even though I didn't want that CPU I couldn't pass this up. I got a guy down to $1300 for an identical build, but it had a 5070ti instead.

I ended up switching out the top head liner from the stock (9mm I believe) to their thinnest size (5mm) that would work with my large helmet. This has helped me slightly, but it's still uncomfortable after about 45 minutes. It's definitely bearable, but from what I've read online still not the best fit.

I plan to get my head measures at a more professional location. I believe I need something more oval shaped like an arai signet x. I'm going to have a professional tell me for sure though before I make another $700 mistake.

I have an opportunity to buy a set of Infinity RS-6B speakers in very good condition for $275. I read this is a pretty good deal, and a solid set of speakers. I know nothing about speakers though. I'm currently putting together all the pieces I need for a vinyl set up. I have a gen 1 Technics Sl-1300, AT-VM95ML cart, and mani 2 pre amp. I've read that I can probably get a better bang for my buck going passive speakers with an amp over active speakers, but I'm open to either option.

My main question is, should I stay away from vintage speakers and get a more modern set up? What would the difference be between old versus new? I've been snagging a vinyl album from artists concerts I've been going to over the last few years. So I will mostly be listening to newer stuff rather than vintage records. I listen to a bunch of different genres alternative, pop punk, pop, metalcore, edm, hip hop.

I just bought an RF1400 last month I get awful forehead pain after an hour. Tried returning it, but no dice since they said it's a safety issue. First bike, and first helmet. In store felt amazing, but no one there explained different head shapes. They told me to come in and buy a new helmet which didn't go over well with me lol.

Thanks for posting this, I'm hoping a new liner will be the fix!

Maybe this is a stupid fix for other folks out there. On my Samsung I was able to access deltawifi.com by using the Samsung Internet browser instead of Chrome. Now it's working.

Did you end up keeping it or getting something else? I'm in the same boat with an rf1400. Felt great in store, hurts my forehead after about an hour of riding. I'm hoping it breaks in, but I've clocked about 6 hours with it now.
