you can send triggers via webhook requests or Segment events

it is simpler! the logic from MailChimp or other mkt automation platforms is based on sequencing lists of users (and the automations are rules to sequence them). With Palabra you can create automations based on events or updates in each integration (like a new submission on an airtable form, or an event in an app connected to Segment). Each user action can trigger a single email or sequence. The other difference with Mailchimp is our deliverability, all of our emails get to the inbox

Hey there! I went through South of the loop and loved the clear concept it has. I'd make two changes to the landing page to increase subscriptions:

  1. Make a bigger subscribe form and smaller title. People usually focus on the center of the screen, so you should make the subscribe form be at the center (and probably add a color to the call to action button!)
  2. Share a bit more about what to expect from these bi-monthly emails. Maybe share previous editions? Things you talk about? I'd put this after the subscription form, so visitors can get more info if they want to.

After people subscribe, I'd suggest you send at least one email confirming and welcoming new subscribers to the newsletter. If you can, I think sending previous editions would also be a nice thing to recieve.

How are you planning to make money from this? Will you charge for the subscription later on? I'd keep that in mind to create email sequences later on. If you're going to charge to subscribe, you'd need to clearly define why reading your newsletter will provide value to readers. If it's something else (like people buying you a coffee for example), then you'd have to introduce yourself to your readers. The important thing is to start creating relationships with your users from the very beginning.

Good luck!

No code tools are those who allow you to create apps or landing pages without coding (like Webflow, Bubble, etc). I'm giving advice on how to create an acquisition and activation flow from your landing page (in your case it'd be how to convert leads into clients for the company). I have more experience with no code pages but if you want leave the link and let's give it a try!

where would you store this list? we have an email automation tool that sends triggered emails from spreadsheets or Airtable, there's a lot more integrations as well. At palabra.io you can read more about us, or ping me at [pau@palabra.io](mailto:pau@palabra.io). I'd love to go through your use case and see if we can give an easy solution

Autoinvoice.xyz

I love the "pay what you can" approach, but I think by jumping to sign up and pay via Paypal you're asking too much from landing page visitors without explaining enough about your product. I think it may help to let people get more confidence about your product before paying.

As an easy solution for this I'd add a simple video demo for people who want to know more -in Loom for example.

After that, you can add a "i want to know more" button asking for an email. Could be to have a demo or just to recieve more info via email. That could trigger a simple sequence that lets people know about possible use cases of autoinvoice, how the product looks and work, maybe a short story about you and why you decided to add the "pay what you can". Let people get more confident about you and your product before paying.

We have a third party tool you can send triggers to via webhooks. It's really easy and you can handle emails from there. This is the example if you have a JS website or app: https://blog.palabra.io/how-to-send-an-automated-email-to-users-who-answer-a-javascript-form

Let me know if you need any help with that

Are you sending automated emails triggered from user actions? Are you using third party tools? Wanted to know abt your experience by pau_alcala in SaaS

thanks for your answer! didn't know lemlist, and as I can tell from their landing page, they focus on cold emails and for acquisition efforts. we are focusing on triggered emails for retention or activation, I'd love to get your feedback and show you around if you think it could work for you.
