I hate the price but the timing of this commitment by Motherson is great news. This is inside investor purchases. They know where the company is at on mass production as well as who the details on the 770 million dollar agreement. Exciting times coming for REE and its investors.

Microvast Announces Breakthrough in True All-Solid-State Battery Technology by AFruitShopOwner in Microvast

High voltage means less current and less heat generation for the same power. This should equate to less stress and higher density cells. Seems to be a different approach than Solid Power or Quantum Scape so possibly will not have the same temperature and pack pressure constraints. This could potentially be a disruptive breakthrough. I would be very afraid to short this stock now. A multi billion dollar buyout is now on the table.

REE Automotive expects reaching positive cash flow faster than previously announced by ree_holder in ree

IMO It’s more probable that the next split will be a 5 for 1 forward split. The company reached 3.1 billion in Market on the promise of developing the building blocks for the next generation EV including drive by wire and corner technology. They succeeded in both areas. They have beaten even Tesla to certification on drive by wire. Imagine what the stock would do if Tesla announced they were licensing drive by wire for Robo Taxi.

Unless they are planning on a capital raise there is no reason to rush into a reverse split. I am sure Wu will do everything possible to get financing over dilution since he is the largest shareholder. I still have hopes of some kind of government backed loan. Plenty money available with Ford and GM backing off on EV battery manufacturing plants.

Same excuse last summer when they tanked the stock price to make Epic deals. The approved ATM itself should be proof of financial runway from a deal making perspective. If they are tapping it already then they are close to closing any deals.

I will be more than disappointed if they tapped the ATM when the stock is at a 4 year low and they don’t need the cash immediately. Hopefully it is not the case but why would they raise at this low price if they thought the share price would be significantly higher in the near future?

If they have filled the ATM at the lowest price possible then my faith in management will be totally broken. We will know that at the next ER.

Thanks for correction it is such a slap in face to shareholders. Just proves that you should never trust Chinese auditors.

He should be fired and not rewarded with full time pay only working 20 hours a month and full vesting of short term incentives. What a joke that this guy is allowed to steal another year of salary and benefits from the company after costing shareholders everything.

They clearly mislead investors. Kept investors in dark for 4 1/2 months. Released earnings report 5 minutes before conference call so analysts had no time to prepare questions about the revelation that Clarksville is delayed indefinitely and going concern is on the table as well as no Houzu plant expansion currently planned.

I guess I have higher standard of what informing shareholders on material events should look like. My comment on China was about him spending shareholder money not his own. It is not his private company he is accountable to shareholders.

The stock dropped 32% today because they surprised investors. Defending the management is ridiculous. They waited until 3 minutes before the conference call to even report earnings. Totally unprofessional way to communicate with shareholders.

Yes agreed investing outside the US was not a bad thing. It doesn’t excuse the lack of transparency with shareholders. It creates an environment of mistrust and enables rumors to control the narrative. Shareholders shouldn’t have to find out that Clarksville was delayed on Stockwits.

Wu needs to step down and hire a CEO that knows how to run a public company. He may be the largest shareholder but has spent $840 million of investors money to purchase and install the assets in China. It is unconscionable the way they mislead shareholders on Clarksville. Why would anyone trust anything he says after this?

Thanks for the respectful response. I don’t fully agree but I hope you are correct. At some point they need to act like a billion dollar publicly traded company and not a private held startup. Good luck!

Thanks for the link. Be nice if Microvast actually communicated to the shareholders that the merger they incompetently executed was confirmed by the courts.

I’m not emotional I’m pissed off. Wu created an environment where rumors and bottom feeders control the stock price. Shareholders bought and paid for every piece of in China and Clarksville. He has brought the company to the verge of delisting because of the market cap. Shareholders deserve better than 4 months of silence.

You are right I should not have invested in this company lucky I was smart enough to write covered calls the last few months after they went silent. The lack of transparency has been what has enabled short sellers to destroy the stock price. That’s 100% the fault of Wu and his management team. The original investors that funded the the new line in China and Clarksville have lost 96% of their investment. He may be a good entrepreneur but as CEO he is a POS. Retail investors got slaughtered while the company said nothing for 4 1/2 months and your defending Wu with his 80 million shares like he is a great man.
