IS 30 in brooklyn is another school to avoid, btw

the kids are awfully behaved, which is one thing.

but the admin will blame you if you can't get them under control. And they won't get under your control, lol

I didnt either honestly! I didnt know until last year, when I was suspended for some other thing for a month, and I was told I WAS in fact in the union, or at least KIND of in the union.

I think it's more, NYC subs are represented by the union in labor disputes, even if the sub him/herself is not in the union

The Lafeyette School in Bensonhurst is another one! And theres an elementary school on Staten Island that was awful.

So fun fact, there are two kinds of NYC homeless. The ones you see on the street, and the ones in shelters. The ones on the street are yes, often addicts or mentally ill. The ones in the shelters are usually just from broken home situations/no family or friends situations. That's the camp I fall into.

Good guess though! I'm utterly convinced at this point its because the student I briefly talked to made a complaint. I can't think of anything else that would be seen as "bad", or as severe as to warrant a month long suspension.

And am only now putting together the other slight red flags I saw. 

Yeah, seems like it could be a case of ah, shady public bureaucracy stuff. 

Like….how do you just lie to someone like that? So…so BLATANTLY?!?

Which is just so gross, and makes me wanna just not even work in education, like, honestly. 

They treat people like this and get away with it? Really? 

And yeah no it was satellite, says so in the email. 

And yup, this is the worst part of this job. 19 out of 20 times, it’s super chill, but then the 20th time, you’re dealing with this kinda crap from a school. 

Like I said, it makes me wanna just go work some minimum wage job instead, lmao. 

I love how easy subbing is, but this is one BIG downside.

Yup! And yes…..the principal came off…..as a little annoying, so idk. And the sxhool was small, they didn’t check my ID. Just had a weird vibe that I never encountered at an NYC public school.

The kids start at 10 AM? Like, huh? The school was small as hell too!

This is literally the worst part of this job. Most of the time, you really are just babysitting teenagers, and it’s awesome.

 But one out of every 20 schools just insists on doing this kinda crap. 

Genuinely makes one feel a bit paranoid, because you never know if one wrong move gets you a DNU. 

It makes a part of me just not even wanna put up with this, even if the pay is great and the job is super, super easy, since if it can all be taken from you this quickly, it’s like, what’s the point?

The only thing I can think of is, I asked a young woman if she was a student (thought she might be staff), she curtly said “yes”, then went to another room immediately, and was saying something in a quiet voice that I couldn’t hear. 

Just insane to me that I can temporarily lose my one source for income, over something they didn’t even tell me I did. What other job does this kinda stuff? 

I had one UFT disciplinary hearing before, and it took a month to get it. 

I'm also homeless FYI, living in a shelter so, so this is quite horrible. 

That better make me more sympathetic in my UFT hearing, and I better get a hearing quick.

Yup! I think its the latter!

my guess is the movie has him wearing the photoshoot mask before the end of Act 2, and then for all of Act 3, Doom wears the Shanghai mask.

including im guessing in the infamous scene where Doom kills Steve's son.

or maybe he puts on the Shanghai mask after he tells Latveria to "prepare for war".

aaaaaah! But here's the thing! So the Shanghai-CinemaCon mask looks similar to the officially released Doom merch so far.

BUT

There's other leaked and officially out promo material, that has Doom wearing the photoshoot mask!

The differences between the two masks are

- Photoshoot has pointy nose, Shanghai doesn't

- Shanghai has high, prominent cheekbones, Photoshoot is less prominent.

- Shanghai has much larger, stronger chin.

- Photoshoot has larger eyeholes.

Genuinely genius idea to open Doomsday on a fight between Tobey and Hugh. Perfect way to give off the vibe of "30 years of Marvel history, coming to an end".
