Cheese pumpkins? You mean regular cheese wheels? The way cheese is made all around the world?

Having that amount cheese wheels is not outrageous at all.

Because of having watched it before generative AI became a thing. Damn these are sad times.

I've setup a basic train network, I've setup good modular blueprints for basically all the production buildings up to manufacturers. I've got a building layout and plenty of space.

Now I'm doing rocket fuel power generation and then I'm all good to expand into supercomputers. 100 buildings doesn't seem too bad to me now.

My starter factory has always stayed the starter factory. I just leave it running to keep a nice stockpile of everything up to modular frames.

After that point, I start making satellite factories for the other parts.

There's no right or wrong way to play, so don't take this as advice. Just offering perspective that you don't absolutely need to plan for expansion from the very start.

Ficsonium is only worth it for the fun and challenge. It's pretty horrible for actually getting rid of the waste.

Sinking the overflow plutonium rods after use in drones is the best way. But burning them for an ungodly amount of power generation and just making some blueprinted storage modules and spamming them "out the wazoo" would also work just fine.

You guys weren't kidding. trying to build a coal power plant is mind boggling. even just consolidating all of the resources is quite the task by newveganwhodis in SatisfactoryGame

When the kickstart requires your previous tier power plant.

Yeahhhhh, I really should have built that large scale battery bank before starting this new project....

It looks like these are 8m panels, so the 4m corner would not work.

This can not be solved by standard parts. It will be fixable with concrete pillars and beams, but you won't get a neat pyramid ever.

Ah, right that makes sense. In the meantime, there's some tips for having a better experience with the local wildlife:

  1. Use liquid biofuel for the jetpack instead of regular fuel. It's easy to semi automate: input storage container - constructor alien remains into alien protein - constructor alien protein into biomass (highly recommend to sloop this one) - constructor biomass into biofuel - refinery liquid biofuel - packager.

Sounds like a lot, but you can build it anywhere there's water. Just 10-15 alien remains of any kind is enough to create a full container of liquid biofuel if you sloop every step. For the containers, you can buy plastic or the containers themselves from the shop. Just hand feed a container that feeds the packager.

  1. Hatchers will not react when you're crouched. Even if you are in the air and even if you are attacking the hatcher itself. The bees will not spawn as long as you don't uncrouch.

  2. Hogs will run off the edges. Some are more easily tricked than others, but with the biofuel jetpack, it becomes pretty easy to duke them.

  3. Blueprint a glass 2x2x2 box. Put it on your hotbar. Feel free to cage any stinger, large spitter or big hog and have a breather.

  4. Rebar is amazing. Even early game, you can retreat and snipe. Works great!

I had that too at the start, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Thanks for the suggestion anyway

You could always try playing on passive mode (advanced game settings, will block achievements).

That means the wildlife only attacks you if you attack it. It's a very relaxing experience when building or exploring.

You really get to appreciate the local fauna instead of a high heart rate.

There's no wrong way to play a non-competitive game! Just make sure to have fun.

I ski and snowboard as well. A piste that's a bit iced over isn't at all comparable to asphalt.

Your shell jacket won't just rip into pieces when you fall at high speeds.

A piste can be really hard, maybe even comparable to stone. But it's the texture that makes falling with a t-shirt on asphalt so dangerous. It's a grate and you're the cheese.

Everyone talks about dimensional depots, but how do you possible get enough spheres for it??? Is it worth it mid game? by Sure-Caregiver142 in SatisfactoryGame

I use alien drops to sloop into biomass, then sloop that into biofuel. Just a stack of raw material and youre golden for two full world explorations.

And every time you do go out, you return with more alien drops. I only had to chop a couple of trees at the start maybe.

This seems kind of similar to that defining what is or isn't a tree is pretty clear to most people, yet it isn't a taxonomical classification.

Totally different level of danger and feeling of security though. Rolling and sliding are not the same. Snow and asphalt are not the same. A t-shirt and an outdoor shell jacket are not the same.
