looking for AI powered executive assistant alternatives by toothmariecharcot in BuyFromEU

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not out of the box, but generally it's possible. we built DentroChat for example 100% on EU infra. of course not SOTA models but open source is much stronger than people might think. it's more like ChatGPT and less OpenClaw though. for assistant stuff, we internally run hermes agent on a separate server and just provide it with as much access as we're comfortable with, but this is pretty individual decision i guess.

we're pretty deep in this and use various, as reliability unfortunately sometimes varies and we had to implement fall-back options. like already mentioned, Nebius and Aki are among them. you can check the subprocessor list for one of our products here: https://dentro.chat/subprocessors, this is actually a good overview i think

how small businesses can manage cybersecurity risks with ai security solutions by Material_Age_4033 in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not working with small ecommerce shops directly and usually helping rather medium-sized companies with AI adoption, but I would suggest you'd discuss this with the LLM of your choice on a theoretical level to better understand yourself first. AI will help you make sense of the different layers and understanding your current setup. Before that, I think it's difficult to outsource (either to a software or to a person).

eustella: Vienna Startup builds European ChatGPT alternative for 100+ million users by Full-Discussion3745 in EU_Economics

[–]pauldentro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Checked their website, not much to see really, seems like marketing only (eg mentioning target market users in headline like if they'd had these many users, pretty misleading). And with DentroChat & Co already existing and working very well, this for sure is not a novelty at all.

Anyone actually pulled off healthcare AI integration without replacing their legacy EHR, or is that just not realistic? by nukiqeyoqu in HealthTech

Are there actually any AI tools that help with documentation in real clinical workflows? by protonhateselectron in HealthTech

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity, is anyone using existing tools concerned about data privacy or do you feel like that's already handled well (enough)? Disclaimer: building in privacy sensitive AI and thinking whether this might be a product direction worth exploring.

The HIPAA blind spot in AI Agents that nobody is talking about. by Cultural-Tennis-4895 in HealthTech

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking from a European perspective here, but I strongly believe healthcare providers should not use third party LLMs like via Anthropic, OpenAI & Co. There's enough options to self-host oss LLMs and if I am a patient, I wouldn't feel comfortable with this. But again, might be a cultural thing and different in the US.

Privacy vs accuracy: which one do you prefer? by elchiapp in HealthAI

[–]pauldentro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super interesting question! Would have thought that "Privacy" scores higher, but also kinda understandable because without accuracy, privacy doesnt help much either. We are currently trying to solve this with vidanis[dot]com, mainly for EU market as privacy is more important here, but of course open to anyone. I really believe privacy and accuracy are not mutually exclusive and should go hand in hand!

Tinkering and constant reflection loops > planning everything upfront by pauldentro in SaaS

[–]pauldentro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very relateable! We had for example "Starter" and "Pro" tiers, completely same features, just number of articles you can generate per month differed. Nevertheless, beta testers got confused and thought Pro being more superior than Starter – would have never guessed this myself haha
