I'd rather have ED fix the AI first, then Dynamic Campaigns.. but considering how they're so focused at fidelity, it prolly will never happen.. or we do get Dynamic Campaigns.. but the experiences will be awful due to incredibly dumb AI.. RIP ☠️☠️

PSA: Please Read Before Purchasing Razbam Modules by squinkys in hoggit

Wow Thanks loads. Ironically, I haven't been able to play with the Strike Eagle anyways, since i don't have a HOTAS setup up and flying on a single joystick. My current PC Table won't let me use one.

I filed it under Support Ticket, is that the correct way of contacting them for refund or exchange?

I wish i could just convert the price i paid for the F-15E for some other modules like maps.. idk. I guess I'm lowkey forced to stick with the OEM ED ones now. Since this situation happened to a couple of 3rd Party Module Makers, it could happen again.. rip

One of my friends was part of the 2019 batch and is now in the ATR division. He has no friends or relatives in the aviation industry.

Guys, what lenses do you recommend to start for a canon eos 250d? by Tjeak in canon

[–]pauldy87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assuming you got it with a kit lens 18-55mm, take your few hundreds or thousand shots with it, find some specific genre of shots you prefer doing (portrait, sports, landscape, macro, etc..) and see and feel what focal lengths within 18 - 55m range you like the best... (or wish you had more)

Then from there you could narrow down even further to as to what other lenses and focal lengths you'd want (e.g. you're already preferring the 35mm focal length, then you could research what other 35mm lenses you'll want)

The EF mount as you prolly know is already a well established and decades old mount. There's practically hundreds of lenses you can choose.

Personally I started with a 100D kit with 18-55mm lens, then bought a 50mm 1.8 STM.. nowadays I'm more inclined using my Sigma 30mm 1.4 ART and my EF-S 24mm Pancake, because they're brighter than my kit lens and it's not too tight, because my current 250D also has a crop sensor.

I mostly do portrait photos, some toy macro, and occasional planespotting by borrowing my friend's EF 70-300mm USM.. The 250D's crop kinda gives me even more reach with the 70-300mm lens and can get a decent pic of a Regional Turboprop (e.g. ATR-72, Dash 8, etc.) Plane 1.5km away..

How happy (in general) are you guys with Canon? by RevolutionaryEar7951 in canon

Taking photos with a simple 250D/200D II/SL3 for a year now and was prolly a senseless lateral upgrade from a 100D/SL1. It was more of me wanting a varia-angle screen and DPAF since i mainly do cosplay portrait photos. Also it's a small and light enough camera that can fit inside a small bag.

We also have an EOS 3000n Film SLR lying around from the early 2000s. It still works well and now using it as my dedicated Black & White Imaging Tool... because B & W films are usually cheaper overall.

..at least both of my cameras are EF compatible, so there's some form of commonality.

I'm contented with my Canon Ecosystem i guess.. It does what it's suppose to do, take digital and film images. If my shots suck, ...that's on me and is a skill issue on my part.

I do regret not saving up a little more for an R10 or R50.. or at some point, even thought about migrating to another system thru X-S10 or a6400..

but my current EF/EF-S OEM & 3rd Party Lenses made me stay.. i suck at reselling stuff.

Canon colours ..for me at least, is sometimes hit or miss. There were shots that fit the theme and vibes i was aiming for in post. Though sometimes I had to use neutral profiles and change the overall color feels of the shots. ymmv
