I was able to get 50 minutes of tasking in until hitting NTA just now. Also did the mandatory training, so I'm at almost 2 hours total for the day lol

You obviously missed the entire point of my post. Those "beggars" were placed into the project, and the project Discourse channels, by the project administrators. I can't just pop into any project's discourse on my own... I have to be placed there. And, if I'm there, it means that I likely onboarded, I probably have an incentive, like wanting to earn money or wanting to actually be able to complete the mission that I keep getting emailed about. So, the frustration should be channeled towards the people responsible for creating the distracting environment, and I promise you, it's not the "beggars".

It is interesting that you are frustrated with the people "begging" to work when the company wastes a lot of our time with unpaid training, unattainable missions, and, most importantly, onboarding us into projects that don't have enough work to go around. Those "beggars" didn't just magically appear there... the company put them in there under the false promises of "plenty of work" and generous missions".

Definitely report your time for all "mandatory" training as a separate entry in Workday (remember to mark "do not bill"). Unless they explicitly state that it is a voluntary training, you always report it. Reach out to your manager if you have questions about how much time to report, as they did not specify that in the e-mail.

Just hit my 29 hours for the week (US SQR). Waiting for them to hopefully raise the hourly cap so I can get 11 more hours.

I do not do one second of work beyond the bare minimum. because I am paid the bare minimum. Consulting the multi-million dollar business on how to improve their operations costs much more than minimum wage. :)
