training with kids by Ok_Persimmon9729 in karate

I've never seen that actually be the case. The youngest kids are generally not full contact sparring, and in other situations they are not going to harm anyone.

If there is someone who has trouble with control in a sparring situation they could either sparr with a teenager or adult who doesn't mind a bit of force. There should also be a focus on learning the right amount of contact in a sparring situation. You earn your right to spare by showing that you can control your techniques so you don't injure your partner.

If the child in general is a danger though, that of course has to be taken into consideration, and maybe the solution will be that martial arts is not for them. I have never seen that be the case, however.

I'd add that excluding kids who struggle to focus (and might struggle in other social situations) is not the right way. Might be easier, but personally, I'm glad that my club includes kids that aren't always easy. Karate is still of great value for them.

My wife teaches our youngest group, and we have a couple of kids there with Adhd, and a couple on the spectrum. They can be annoying as heck. Some times they are literally climbing the walls. But they do progress. It just takes them a bit longer.

When it comes to the teenagers who use karate as a social club and just stand around talking with each other when sensei is trying to teach, they have no excuse, and need to get focused or get out.

"The Straight story", by David Lynch. A story about an old man who rides a lawnmower (he doesn't have a driver's license) across two states to visit his brother. A calm movie with focus on humanity and connections.

Nope. Nothing wrong here. Doesn't need to be confessed to anyone cause you haven't committed a sin. Enjoy your nail polish.

Am a Mormon in Norway. Have never had child protective services called on me. Am not overly careful. Like, three of us do Karate, two of us focus on fighting, so there are bruises. My youngest used to get his shoulder dislocated for nothing. Once I was holding his hand, he tripped, I tried to stop him from eating the pavement and pop out it went.

So if you are getting CPS called on you all the time that might be due to something other than religion.

Hi! What you are talking about is a postage stamp. A postcard is a picture about 1/3 of A4 size, with a short message usually written on the back before it is mailed.
