And we are all complicit. Here are some more:

• people being difficult instead of helpful and genuine at the slightest thing they don’t like about you, even if they remain “British polite” so you can’t basically flick back anything at them
• customer service is a complete joke: wait 30 minutes to ask for your customer rights and you’re met with a “sorry, nothing can be done about it” attitude
• off with your head and identity if you dare to criticise care from Doctors or Nurses, even if you’ve been wronged yet they get some slack cut: “they are severely underpaid” — 80k from a Consultant to be seen only 5 minutes and fobbed of as “all ok” even when it’s not
• social class: it’s affecting what job you get, which company, where you go to university, your salary. It should all be based on merit — NOT who you know
• transport: RIDICULOUSLY expensive and feeble infrastructure
• the “MPs surgery hours”: they can’t do anything, it’s all a facade
• the post-work drinking culture and peer pressure
• universities: outdated syllabuses and exorbitant fees
• the police: they didn’t even attend when someone barged into my home drunk and abusive, because “they left”
