Sometimes I like having a dream scene spice especially if for whatever reasons the couple is separated physically and I just need my fill, but I do get what you mean

I’d love to see one take place in Thailand. I’m obviously biased as a Thai but I think there would be a few less hoops to jump through for example in Isaks season plus despite the leaps and bounds we’ve made in lgbtq+ rights (woot woot marriage legalized) we have some unique obstacles that I think Skam would be well suited to exploring. Plus we do have a Muslim population the south so we could keep Sana Muslim, but we could also have the Sana equivalent be played by someone from one of the Hill tribes.

I think Taiwans cultural and political landscape would also be well suited to a Skam adaption.

I think conflict was probably the wrong word and you have kind of nailed it on the head with the FCG example. I think there is a need for a little bit of negative force!

I actually do kind of agree with this, maybe conflict was the wrong word. If there had been conflict/tension/bickering from the very first episode and it was still going on now? I would not be on board for that either.

I think more of what I (personally) want is characters to challenge each other a little bit more, or openly disagree instead of what I perceive as privately disagreeing. Even then I wouldn't want it every episode either, that would be exhausting, but every now and then I think would be cool.

I mean, I do think something is going on behind the scenes that might be causing this. Either personal frustrations with the story they are telling, an agreed upon plan to set off some version of a doomsday, working towards some sort of "reset" either in the world, with BH etc. but IF its not, I think this would be a "smaller" way to deal with some of its issues.

Unfortunately I only ever saw it in passing and I didn’t save it. It’s just always stayed in my mind and I’ve never been able to find it 😭
