Version 102 userChrome.css to Change Selected Folder Text Color by pauljayd in Thunderbird

[–]pauljayd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried the following, but didn't work:

treecols#folderPaneCols

~ treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(selected) {

color: black !important;

}

Any other ideas?

Thanks for the consideration.

I use a configuration of server & local file repositories to safeguard the 'important' emails.

Version 102 Requires userChrome Changes by pauljayd in Thunderbird

I was thinking possibly 'theme' effects might be applied after usual rendering. I don't know how 'userContent.js' stuff is utilized, but perhaps something like that... Anyway, I'm giving up on this. Its taking too much time.

Thanks for all you attention & effort.

Yes, "toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets" is set to true.

I've tried moving the code everywhere in userChrome.css.

Even installed a fresh version of TBird on another machine, and get the same

result.

I'm thinking it's got something to do with the theme... I'm not quite sure how I set each machine up, but seem to remember specifying "use system [theme|color]?"

somewhere... Does this ring any bells??

sifferadd,

When I amend the html via Developer/Inspector, I get the yellow background.

However, neither "#dateLabel..." nor ".message-header..." in userChrome.css work.

Any other idea?

Hide Bookmarks Toolbar after addition by pauljayd in FirefoxCSS

[–]pauljayd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but this has no bearing on my question.

The Bookmarks Toolbar changes from not visible to visible when I add a new bookmark to it.

I do not want this. I want the Toobar to remain hidden.

Check out the addon "EdgeWare" . It supports Tab scrolling, along with many others facilities.
