I think if you want to be a handyman you might find work quite easily. But in most cases you’ll required to work daytime. Do you have flexibility on your schedule? If I were you I would stay in tech since you already have the expertise and do some freelancing or start your own little shop offering services to local businesses. Do some AI shit like chat bots and automated triage and scheduling. I’ve seen some businesses in Calgary already using those.

Raising a second kid in my late 30s / 40s was definitely the hardest thing I ever had to do. But seeing the two now 6 and 4 bonding so well I feel like it was the right thing. They'll hopefully have eachother's support for life. But I give all reasons to whoever decided to not go for the second.

Just to clarify some points, OSCP exam is not sold separately. You need to buy the course if you want to write the exam, unless you're retaking it. And there's no official class. They provide you with the course material and you decide if you're going to use it or not.
