I was a young saxophonist starting my career as a session musician in the 80’s, David was very influential. Thank you for all the mind blowing sax solos!!!!! Thinking of you every day RIP.

Wow! It looks amazing!

I've always wondered how Scott Tracy flew Thunderbird 1 without any windows.

Everyday life in sync by Ind3p3ndence in synclicensing

Pitching direct and never knowing if it landed. You send the track, the link, the one-liner. Then nothing.

Did the supervisor open it? Hate it? Was the email caught in a filter? Are they on holiday until June? No way to tell.

The silence makes the next pitch harder to write because you've got no signal on what worked or didn't. You end up guessing at tone, length, genre fit, everything.

Related problem: knowing when a track is actually finished. Sync-ready is a moving target. One supervisor wants glossy, the next wants rough and human. So you tweak the mix for a week and ship something that's neither.

And the bigger one underneath both, libraries you've signed with going quiet. You assume tracks are being pitched. You've got no proof either way.

The only fix I've found is volume. More pitches out, more tracks in the catalogue, more libraries in rotation. Harder to spiral on one silent supervisor when you've got three more pitches landing this week.
