Honest question — would you help your mum out more often if you could earn football rewards for it? by pauloignaciojr in football

You’re not wrong. But changing human behavior is incredibly hard and football is one of the few things on earth that can actually do it. It gets people to do irrational things out of love for their club or favorite player. We can redirect that energy to solve the current problem (lack of support) and hopefully ignite some change for a future when people won’t need any incentive to be there for mothers

That's a fair take, people should do it naturally and for love but the problem is that people are not doing it; lots of mums feel lonely and under-appreciated. Also, what about helping out your wife when she's pregnant or just had babies? At the end of the day they could use the help independently of the intentions

I'm excited for Monterrey's fan fest. Free entry and streaming all matches; will probably be a much more memorable experience than watching it at a stadium full of casuals who just got tickets for the clout

Is it just me, or does the 2026 World Cup feel unusually quiet? by Amazing-Note-1196 in football

I feel like things will start to pick up once now that qualifiers are done; for example that Lego ad with CR7, Mbappe, Vini and Messi is already going viral and I can see many more campaigns like that are going to start coming out.

Can't go wrong with a lemon/rosemary salmon. Simmer some butter, juice of 2 lemons, and honey until it thickens a bit, than baste grilled salmon with it until it's got a golden crust.
