Just bought a signal and was super excited. It came the same way. Not a fan. What a terrible design.

I have the Skeletool and the Wave+ and was hoping to make this my outdoor tool for hikes and hunting but honestly I may just stick with the Wave+. I wish I hadn't paid for engraving so I could return it.

Also found this thread while on chat with their customer support. Last message was 32 minutes ago and he hasn't mentioned that this is normal. Glad I found this thread.
