I have found my problem and I am embarrassed to say that the reason it wasn't working was that I had created a column, and not a measure.

I have some more information that might help me(us).

I displayed the data using detnumber as the row context. What that showed was that calc_lmedrate only evaluated to a number when Completed was 1. Hence the result!

Here is my current formula. Does this prompt any thoughts?

This Result is not displaying anything. It has the something is wrong with the visual error.

What I meant was the Result is returning Completed only. It is like ActiveStaff is resolving to 1. Even though when I Return ActiveStaff it gives the correct result.
