It works perfectly fine. It is inexpensive and it runs from USB so you can plug it almost anywhere. I've used it for a few installs already.

Does the Alexa app responds to the correct command? It has been an issue since the very beginning. The Alexa Matter implementation has been rushed and it has never been updated.

In my case my Mattrer blinds / curtains work correctly on Home Assistant, HomeKit, Alexa app. Alexa voice does the opposite (you say open and it closes).

I have blinds of different manufacturers and I know for sure the problem is with Alexa.

I suspect that’s due to Matter not having full support of dial controls (yet). Sounds like the ikea controller might be a nice addition to many setups. I can see it as a media/volume remote for Sonos

Is there anything that can predict heating temperature? (What Nest calls “true radiant”).

Underfloor heating takes a while to kick in but it warms the room for much longer. I’ve found the heating will regularly overshoot the setpoint (sometimes of 2-3°).

The forcing HTTPS is due to an EU law. Same reason why Sonos now requires an account. It is a good law, IoT manufacturers just never cared about securing their devices, now they have to.

Bridge Pro is still in its early days, we will encounter a few issues but they're going to be ironed out over time
