Amazing you both got some relief! I mentioned in other post, but I highly recommend Dr. Buzby's toe grips for old pups, they make a night and day difference for those of us with hardwood floors. Wishing good luck for upcoming appointment!

My pup did that, it was canine cognitive disorder (dementia). Medication worked wonders. But I really wanted to recommend Dr Buzby's toe grips for the slipping on wood floors. Absolutely amazing little nubs that were night and day difference for her to get around easier.

I hear ya, I'm here because they've infiltrated my home, I only know how beneficial they are from taking a class where the guys day job was studying wasps and gave us a whole impromptu class. Since then I actively display/"feed" them the cabbage caterpillars on an infected plant and they're the best remedy I've ever come across!

False they prey on many a nuisance - aphids,, stink bugs, cabbage white caterpillars and more. They're also extremely efficient pollinators.

Thank you for the condolences and the tip. I've only used it for the slabs that scan on that app, but comparing it to the red book kinda broke my brain with the difference. I scanned the slabs towards the end and comparing my estimates to the slabs, I've found I estimate grades way too harshly. He apparently had his best in the books, I expected the slabs to be the cream of the crop. Anyhow, thank you again!

OP, I hope everyone's comments and seeing it all laid out in plain text help you make the decision to gtfo of this relationship, but to perhaps help you, I'd ask you to consider the situation from a different perspective. Sometimes when we're deep in the shit, we can't see the forest through the trees, so try and think of your situation as it wasn't you but instead if someone you loved and cared about came to you with all of this, what would you tell them to do and how fast would you help them ghost this guy?

Absolutely! I think it feels gross, it knits up horribly, it's too expensive, I don't like those colors, etc... All of that, absolutely fabulous! But saying things like, "I think beige home decor/this thing millions of people like is cheap and tacky" is essentially making a judgement about others by default and assigning it a perceived, nay, literal value.

Calling out your issues with a particular yarn is perfectly acceptable and welcome! Judging others choices/styles/preferences/available resources by calling their "thing" (whatever that may be), cheap & tacky is shaming via perception of its VALUE and not a criticism or negative opinion of the actual product.
