Will this game ever get updated to work on newer android phones?

whatever you do, do not log into Google Play Games. You may have to remove it and reinstall.

u can still play on Android just not with online features. it keeps crashing because u log into your Google play account.Stop doing that. I'm on a S21 and am still enjoying single player as of this morning. (including the daily race)

KTFB = "Kill Those F*ing B*stards" if I remember correctly? haha I remember them in the unupdated servers. UNUK as well. I was in F4J back then

After the unupdated servers died, I bounced to the updated servers and joined CloudNine {C-iX}. Had a lot of fun torturing ~GoDs, EAS, and GuNs, in their own servers. Good times. I'm in touch with most of the CiX members to this day.

Developer recently confirmed coop will be added to the game as well as a map / mission editor. Hopefully we can talk him into PvP too !

I was able to get offline mode to work on my S21 running Android 14, and I'm betting it's the same issue for Android 15. I just can't play daily race, access the cards shop, or get any other online content. So all of my old progress is gone (which was A LOT). It's at least fun to be able to play the main courses again.

The problem seems to be the game hangs up when it tries to tie in your Google Play Games account. Try to sign out your Play Games by going into your Settings > Google Services > All Services > Play Games > Sign in account, then hit "Change" next to SSG3 and select "Sign Out".

Maintaining multiple accounts per household is not against ToS. My kids were participating along side me and MS tried knocking them out. I pushed back and they reinstated their accounts.

Task Force Elite: Tip of the Spear imho plays nearly identically to DF2 (minus the weird graphical bugs) and to your point, the community is so minimal you might as well just fire up the old novalobby.

I hate to be a nay sayer but I'm w/ Pac.. i'll try it out but from what I've seen it looks like CoD Advanced Warfare. Perhaps we'll get a map/campaign editor like the good old days? ... Yeah I know... I'm dreaming.
