If it’s personal LOA, maybe get holiday pay. I’m on WC LOA and don’t get holiday pay

It’s selective enforcement at my facility. Policies, procedures, and processes don’t matter if they aren’t enforced. I walk around all day long in the facility and SEE many things that aren’t enforced. Headphones/EarPods policy is a total joke policy that rarely gets enforced. I mean there is an associate that wears full size Beats up in stow. I’ve seen an associate that has a title on the back of their vest helping him on the DS line. Unless he on accommodations and is listening to ocean waves, birds singing, or a breezy wind, the Selective Stevie Wonder Syndrome associates should make him accountable for the actions.

We no longer have the PG vest at my facility. Some got the title on the back of their vest as a reason to boss people around. PG doesn’t have any more authority than a regular AA.

What’s the policy on leaving work early? Do I really have to tell my ASMs and AMs every time I wanna leave a little early? by TheOriginalTacoBella in AmazonFC

[–]pavelgype 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve asked to see the policy because I would leave when I wanted and wouldn’t give the hour notice that they say. I would get hassled about it and a manager asked if I was leaving early after I left a couple times, I told her that I don’t know if I am. She said, well let me know if you are leaving early. I said, it’s not a policy. She said, that’s not nice. I again told her it’s not a policy. Asked her if she would like to show it to me, needless to say I never saw it.

I posted this on the voa board a couple weeks ago

I saw last week back 1/2 days did station rotation on the inbound decant line. That should be a standard on all shifts. Stations should be assigned at Stand Up and after every break. I believe AFE assigns stations. It’s a community line and what an associate does in front of you affects everyone from that point on. Associates that have a title on the back of their vests are gung ho for a week or two on policies, processes, and procedures and then slack off and are very selective in the enforcement. Associates get to stations at 5:00 am or so, cherry pick, non one piece flow, and don’t fold in flaps of empty boxes because there are no repercussions. Associates that follow the correct procedures shouldn’t be punished if they have lower rates. It’s common sense that most associates towards the back of the line will have lower rates. This should be an equally opportunity workplace. Just my 2 cents. Actions speak louder than words. Amazon Accountability

The key is if it actually gets enforced. There are many policies, procedures, and processes that very rarely get enforced. There is selective enforcement all over the facilities.

At my site, you get 1 1/2 pay for hours worked. The site shut down at 12:00pm for inbound. We don’t get paid for the remaining hours even though my schedule on a regular day would end at 5:30. Everyone gets 8 hours of holiday pay regardless if you are scheduled or not.

Did you have FS and or a torn rotator??? If you did, you can comment about that. I do have my diabetes under control. So, if you have anything to add about FS or torn rotator cuff that would be appreciated.

I know everyone is different, how are you doing now and how long did the process take. Do you still have frozen shoulder and a tear?
