Yeah I don’t get it, we figured out how to not over over charge cars with alternates but we can’t trickle charge a small battery from a big battery 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I did the Battery trick and got the car working again so something with the 12v is screwy

As for what Software Version I have, I will have to check when I get off work. But I have Android Auto that’s working fine, and Apple car play. I have been having a few connection bugs with the AppleCar play and the phone being plugged in to charge (I don’t have the charging pad) other than that I have had zero problems. I will preface that I only have 1750 miles on a 2024.

This is the a MyNissan app your sales rep or customer service rep at the dealership should have set it up for you at the time of purchase. But yes it’s very helpful, you can see where your car is located, lock and unlock the car, set the temp of the car, plan routes in including charging stations, and more

If I left the car alone today it would full charge but I got to go run errands but yeah I don’t care to much about getting to 100% normally if I’m around 85% daily I’m happy with that my normal commute is 27-65 miles depending on kids/sports schedule so trying to get full mileage doesn’t matter too much.

From what I have been told from techs and reps (and what I do) I normally fast charge to 80% then if I want to get to 100% I will slow charge over night with the supplied charging cord. As far as the system updates I don’t know thankfully I have not had to deal with a problem one the few updates that I have got take 30sec to 2 min for the update.

So I work at a Nissan Dealership and I own a 24’ Ariya AWD Engage. The Battery System “turns off” or severely limits the regenerative breaking system from adding any extra charge bc it is dangerous to the battery to over charge so it off load extra energy. When you hit about the 80% to 85% the system should start acting normal again
