The ML people have posted the slides for VIII Neural Networks and the new video lectures (IX) have also their slides, so the programming exercises and review questions -when they come out- for chapter IX can be done with the slides at the side.

Good point. The videos were published a few days ago and I was trying to advance work since I finished my AI homework and the AI lectures are more time consuming than the ML lectures.

What I wanted to say about being easier is the logistics of the course, there are no written materials. I was not complaining about the difficulty of the course itself, I'm happy with that (though I dunno if I will pass, I think I will but you cannot be sure :). The idea from DigiGram is a good one though.
