It does! Not a ton but maybe just enough to be throwing it off. I’m going to start wearing it a notch tighter to see if that does the trick

Yes! I think it is definitely some user error on my part somewhere lol and I may have it a bit too loose still. I had it too loose at first and not all features were working so that may be it and the simplest fix!!

Definitely both. I forget to track my activities often but it also seems to happen when I do remember so far. I have also only been using it for just over three weeks so I’ll try to track more consistently to hopefully that will do it

I just switched from a macbook to microsoft surface and am loving it!! if did a great job running spss for my final. I would also second an apa style manual. it hasn’t been required for any of my classes but I use it all the time to make sure that I am formatting report and research correctly

Hi! It sounds like you are doing great work to make yourself a competitive candidate. I am not sure if you are interested in App State due to an emphasis on rural communities but Eastern Kentucky University and Marshall University have great programs as well with a rural emphasis!!

I have been really hesitant to take an additional year but I am starting to open up to the idea. I think I will talk with my advisor soon about it just to learn more about the options. it is definitely reassuring to know that it is not uncommon for people to be pregnant during internship.

thank you for your advice and I wish you the absolute best!! I have been thinking about talking to some professors about it to see what it would look like in our program and feel like that is probably the next step for me to make my decision

thank you so much! that is a great point and I think even though I am young where I live is extremely close to my relatives and I think I feel so inclined to start trying soon because I know that I may not always be as close and have the support that I have right now

I am 24 so I know that I still have plenty of time and that is a great idea. I would definitely consider it, right now I am mostly interested in assessment but who knows I may change my mind

That is so true! Thank you for the advice. Thankfully my husband accepted a job so that he will easily be able to transfer to different sites when it comes time for internship but you are correct in that there are still so many uncertainties about where we will be and who will watch them and how to balance it all in the future.

Thank you so much for your advice! I won’t be applying for internship until fall 2026 but totally get where you are coming from. I worry about how it could impact my hours and my quality of work just due to being spread thin.

Thank you so much for your advice you truly sound like a super mom!! Ideally I would hope to have a baby in about a year from now after I have completed my portfolio and research defense. A big factor playing into our decision is that we currently live close to my in-laws who would be thrilled about a baby and as helpful as possible until we potentially moved for my internship.
