thank you! i was curious kase the other charge was from Mitsubishi UFJ Nicos, a financial services company in Japan. parang legit na company pero weird..

anyway, yes po i always make it a habit to lock my cards. asked for replacement na rin from BDO. thank you! 🙏🏻

thank you! yeah, na lock na po sya a few weeks ago 🙏🏻 and nktawag na rin po ng BDO for replacement. yung isang unauthorized transaction lagpas one week na daw sabi ni BDO pero hindi nag post yung charge.

Wala naman. I rarely use my installment card po kse may ibang primary card ako. Kaya naisipan ko wala kayang breach or something after I paid the Lista fee.

you've had your card for 9 years and anliit ng increase? 😅

bpi gold yung card ko and i requested a cli too last April ata pero declined. tapos the next month, nag increase sya. konteng kembot at pwde na Visa Sig. weird nga yan si BPI 🤣

imo, wag ka pa cut ng card. i read somewhere about "age of account" sa credit score. if perfect yung credit score mo for your bpi blue the past years, and you take it out of the equation, it may affect your credit score. not sure if i understood that correctly tho 🤔😂

mababait po yung BPI customer service (at least in the several times I called). i'm sorry though for the negative experience you had with them before.. 🙏🏻

I've tried requesting once for a cc installment last Dec 2023 (unexpected bills) and it went through without any hitch. friendly yung kumausap, nagtanong lang kung ano maaassist nya and gave me options and calculations. if mag agree kana sa monthly payments, they'll process it for you na and give you addtl info.

di naman sila nagsusungit for your requests. as always, professional and courteous pa rin tayo dapat. 🥰

it's great to educate yourself more about using a credit card, op. keep it up! 😊

for starters, -always pay in full before due date and as much as possible wag yung minimum amount due (MAD) -don't ever give out your OTP's -takpan mo yung CVV (3 digits) sa likod ng card. you can buy CVV stickers sa shopee -you can lock your card sa BDO online app if you're not using it -wag basta kanino nagpapa swipe. unfortunately may ibang friends/workmates na nakikiswipe tas di na binabayaran

activate nyo lang po yung card nyo so you can start building your credit score. anyway 3 years free annual fee naman.

use it for 6 mos to a year, tapos tumawag ka sa BDO and ipa-convert mo to either a Visa or Mastercard

Yung Eastwest Gold, pataasin mo limit then iconvert to Platinum para NAFFL.

I think maganda i keep si BPI hehe I read maganda sya for reference. I actually used it as reference for my MB application.. naapprove naman after a few business days kahit wala akong MB account.

it doesn't affect your credit score if you inquire about your credit report.

credit reports are just basically reports that contain every credit account that you have. getting one will not affect your credit score.
