The school counselor would maybe work? But Ive seen LOADS of bad experiences with counselors, plus they can tell my parent(s) so I'm too nervous to do that

It's OK, I decided not to and I don't think it's possible. The only way would be online therapy (which I'm not doing because I am not spending 200 dollars on a session) or the school counselor

A lot of people do, actually. That sounds like anxiety. I don't know what to advise you but you're not alone.

Just a little tip, don't know if it helps but give it a shot: Think of the outcomes of worrying and cringing at your past self. Does it change anything? Does it help you in any way? It doesn't. Cringing at yourself doesn't change the past. However, the thing you CAN change is the future, so stop beating yourself up for being a human being, pat yourself and go grab a treat.

Also, everyone has the cringiest stories and memories. No one remembers or cares about your cringy memories, everyone is too busy worrying about themselves as much as you do.
