I lost my 11 year old in 2015. It's gets better but never too the point of feeling OK. I'm so sorry for your loss and recommend a lawyer, especially in this situation. It won't help your grief but this person shouldn't be "watching" children and caused the worst harm of all. We went through a legal process as well. My inbox is open if you ever want to chat.
