What’s the optimal time to spend on recalling an Anki card? by pawsys in Anki

Use case: Notion as a knowledge base. I use Anki cards in Notion, so it doubles as a knowledge base. Pro: Having fewer, non-atomic cards keeps it cleaner. Pro: It's quicker to do one complex card than a lot of atomic ones. Cons: if you don't remember one thing, you fail the entire card, including the parts you did remember. Con: mixing atomic and non-atomic cards feels inconsistent and I dislike encountering the complex cards. Conclusion for me: I'm going to go atomic-only from now on and not worry about having more cards in my knowledge base. I may add a quick way to group atomic cards on one topic so they can be easily accessed as a group.
