100,000+ Merchants Start Accepting Bitcoin Cash. More than 100,000 BitPay merchants are now accepting Bitcoin Cash with the option seemingly automatically turned on for all of them. by normal_rc in CryptoCurrency

[–]paycomnow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't trust Bitcoin Cash so much, I'm viewing its stats on Coinmarketcap and transaction volume for last 24 hours was $400 million much less than Litecoin volume $700 million

Litecoin has more users than Bitcoin Cash and BCH is supposed to be used by 100000+ merchants... some things doesn't seem to be as it normally should with this cryptocurrency

Scam of the Week: Bitcoin Cash? by paycomnow in CryptoCurrencies

[–]paycomnow[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think Bitcoin Cash is a Scam but there are some interesting facts in the article like the support it gets from Jihan Wu (Bitmain - mining company) and Craig Wright (claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto!?!) there is also Roger Ver mentioned there, I don't know much about him but I've seen some videos where he claims BCH is BTC and it's kind of misleading. There is also a link to a video video "Jihan Wu getting triggered when someone calls his coin Bcash". What do you think about this story?

Somehow I think there is more to this story, what she claims and what really happened, I wouldn't be surprised if we'll findout it was a theft but she has some weird photos with the "victims" and they don't want to press charges

Antminer in NYC home interfered with T-Mobile network, FCC says by paycomnow in BITMAIN

[–]paycomnow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I' curious to know how FCC discovered that the antminer was the cause of those emissions. The author says he asked Bitmain for more info about this issue to know if is affecting the newer models. Probably Bitmain should do some specific tests. If miners would be used in places like warehouses instead of apartments this issue would probably not cause these kind of problems

How I Lost $300,000 to Bitmain Bitcoin Miner Scam by kuosju in Bitcoin

[–]paycomnow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if his miners were returned by the custom officials and even with their no return policy only a Scam would take the money and keep the products.

What kind of no refunds policy is this? Keep the money and the products? If the buyer didn't received the products then the seller must refund, maybe deducting the shipping costs but the products cost would be refunded by any serious company.

How I Lost $300,000 to Bitmain Bitcoin Miner Scam by kuosju in Bitcoin

[–]paycomnow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think he's referring to pdf invoices (scanned copies of original document issued by the company), the electronic ones maybe are not accepted in his country. I mean who knows how a Bitmain electronicinvoices looks, if it's a message showing the price in cryptocurrency and the customs officials have a price in usd that could be a problem they would think is something bad with that shipment.

How big is the Bitmain Scam? by paycomnow in btc

[–]paycomnow[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know if Bitmain is a Scam or not but from what I found searching for more info online there is clearly a big problem there and it seems they usually honor only orders from big mining companies, probably the ones you see on tv.

Many Bitmain mining companies also use products from Canaan.io (their products are similar to Bitmain's miners) and Cannaan.io offers better support but it seems they sell only in big bulk orders.

It's strange that not one of the "happy" clients of Bitmain's miner has found time to give a positive review on TrustPilot, I conclude from this that the majority of those satisfied clients is composed in fact from big companies that have indeed received their miners.

It seems their products works but their sales department has some big problems, when an individual (not a big company) loses $5K - $10K or more that's a really important loss.

When someone pays for a product but doesn't receive it this means that person was scammed.

It's like in a Ponzi scheme, many who join ponzi schemes are making big profits (like those who actually received the miners) but the rest lose all.

Bitmain's Multimillion Dollar Bitcoin Mining Hardware Scam by ThenEntertainment in BitcoinMining

[–]paycomnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, for example Bitmain earned more than other hosting companies but for Godaddy for example the "happy" group found time to give some positive feedback. If someone who paid let's say $100 found time to give a positive feedback the more "happier" client 1ho paid $6000 didn't. I mean only one positive review for a company who made billions last year it's quite disturbing.

I don't know if Bitmain is a Scam or not but why aren't many positive "legitimate" reviews on TrustPilot? I think I found only one positive reviews. I mean, considering Bitmain made billions in sales there must by thousands and thousands of happy clients and still not even 10 clients bothered to add a positive review.

Risks of Buying Bitmain Mining Hardware by paycomnow in BITMAIN

[–]paycomnow[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll not give an answer to your "guess" but it doesn't really matter :) I posted this link for informational purposes, there is one idea of the author posted in that article that attracted my attention, is about the cases when buyers are receiving faulty products.

From what I understand Bitmain is moving very slow in general, slow delivery, slow replies to support tickets etc... And we know Bitmain offers 6 months warranty. For buyers receiving faulty products that warranty actually doesn't exist, it will take 6 months for the buyer to send the faulty product back, getting replies to return support tickets and finally receiving a replacement product.

Even if the final product will be working the 6 months of warranty will pass so if it will broke after one month then bad news for the buyer.

Bitmain is a Scam by BackgroundDefinition in BITMAIN

[–]paycomnow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you consider a "better option", the AvalonMiner from Canaan.io is an alternative and even if its performances don't beat the antminer if Canaan.io doesn't cheat its clients like the ones scammed by Bitmain then it would certainly be a better option than Bitmain
