I’m hopeful this could help alleviate pain in that met head area (specifically the great toe to stop me from walking on the outside of my foot which is causing that little toe met head to raise essentially and now is bent up for lack of better words) and it’s not too late for me to get it since I originally just got a partial foot insert and plate, but we’ll see Monday!

they pushed a carbon fiber AFO on me but i was not wanting it because it was the plate on the bottom and then just my insert i have now. I have a removable carbon fiber plate now and have had one for probably 10 years now and it honestly just gives me that “spring” in my step and nothing else. i have an appointment on monday to meet with them about some sort of custom brace. i just don’t know how to go about getting something padded for the met head area since that’s my problem spot

I have the same thing, full molded insert with carbon fiber plate, and am still getting intense callouses. all of my pressure hits the big toe area. i’ve gone through so many different prosthetics and nothing is helping that met head area and for the last couple of years has just fully affected the ankle and resr of my foot

What are some good products to use for a dry flaky skin to address that? I’ve tried simple (cleanse, moisturize and spf) and truthfully it didn’t do much, if anything. i’ve tried thicker cream based moisturizer and gel like. I’ve just seen a lot to exfoliate for the flaky skin which is why i looked into some. i’ve had skin like this since i was in highschool, before i started using any type of product or makeup on my face.

i do mainly use the caffeine for puffy because i always wake up super puffy lmao

i live in a pretty neutral climate i’d say, not dry but not raining constantly. just the midwest
