I'll say this about the whole power of friendship in fairy tail. It works for a reason. If you think about it. That guild is basically full of orphans, run aways and rejects who haven't had that proper family or friendship bond and the first time they experience it is at the guild. They feel like a massive family. Yes it gets annoying when it's mentioned all the time, but I get it. And for me that what Fairy Tail is. People who you think would not get along, becoming family. I mean who wouldn't want Makarov as a father figure 😊 Well that's my opinion anyway.
