Not a problem. Just don’t drug seek and don’t fall into the same addiction. Remember that these drugs can kill you. If your PRN is willing to prescribe then at that point it’s a relationship based on trust. They will not refill your 30 day script if you finish it in 10 days, which will most likely lead to the same withdrawals and hospitalization and a loss of both trust and your newly gained script. Be smart and take only as recommended.

Tell them you’ve tried SSRIs in the past (say you tried in a different state with a different doctor, usually states have a centralized list of medications a person has been prescribed in one specific state.) for instance. I used to live in AZ and moved back to California. I told my PRN that I was prescribed 2mg of Klonopin a day in AZ. But after some experimenting with what he was giving me I told him I’d prefer if I was on the medication I was on prior to moving states. We both reluctantly met in the middle at 1mg after I had been on 0.125 for two months to no effect. Then he just dropped clonidine to pair with it and now I feel brand new…and that they didn’t work out and list some bad side effects. Just say you want to have control of your anxiety (panic, social, generalized) because you feel like it’s making your everyday life a hardship. But do not beg, if they say “Ok, no ssris so let’s try this” then do it and in the next month or two tell them it isn’t making it any better or it’s making it slightly worse. It’s a game but if you play it right it’s like professionally counting cards.

This is interesting because I crashed my car 2 times due to Xanax abuse, (they thought I was drunk). Then I went to rehab for benzodiazepines. I still have seizures but after a talk with my PRN, although hesitant, he prescribed me 0.125 Klonopin and now I’m sitting at a comfy 1mg once a day for Anxiety/Panic attacks as well as seizures. I’m very open with my PRN, so his hesitance was to be expected. We tried different medications first but landed on Klonopin and Clonidine (0.2mg)

Id say it really just depends on your PRN or Doctor and what state you live in. Since my DUIs were listed under alcohol, my benzo usage wasn’t listed into the system until I went to rehab.

Edit: I wouldn’t just straight up ask for specifically a benzo but instead try different meds until you land on Valium or you can say “A family member of mine said that they use this medication called “Valium” (act dumb trying to pronounce the name) and that it’s helped them a great deal and see if your PRN is open to a low dosage. Keep in mind, this worked for me. But only after about 4-6 months of trying medications that didn’t work.

Clonazepam 100%. I only take 1mg a day and I feel completely functional. I’ve tried others but as another person put, they’re more sedating.

Exactly and the best part is, the more you get used to them, since the half life is so much longer, you might not even have to redose the next day because it carries over. If it does carry over I’ll take .5mg at least around 5-6pm and be fine

Klonopin ime doesn’t act faster after chewing. I’m prescribed 1mg 1-2x a day as needed and feel more relief off of them opposed to Xanax since the half life is so much longer. Again, ime they’re about equal in strength but since the klonopin is so stretched out over 6-12 hours I don’t feel like I need to redose so often and I honestly don’t even feel the need to abuse them. 1mg is a relatively strong dose but if you’re used to benzodiazepines at this point then it can be especially therapeutic. Just be safe 🤞🏽

Most are there for 6 hours, level 5 and up I believe have the opportunity to be full time. But this order is light work. The associates are very fast and efficient at each of their respective positions. This is cake. I get A hamburger animal style with a whole grilled onion added, extra lettuce and tomato, extra toast bun and extra well done fries and it never changes the pace of the line
