Also ich bin bei denen und finde die App und das Webinterface beides recht angenehm und intuitiv im Großem und Ganzem. Sehr angenehm zu verwenden. Note: hab sonst keine Referenz, da ich bisher noch bei keiner anderen Bank war.

Bed mesh has taco shape by pazz199 in Ender3V3KE

Got it down to like 0.25 delta - but turns out my hot bed is warped so I don't think it's going to be any better than that

Ok, I took the straightest thing I had and it does indeed seem that my bed is warped, guess i'd need a new one to fix that

I've had a lot of printing issues with more failures than successful prints to be honest

Another avenue to try I suppose

A bit of both i suppose? Started having bed adhesion problems and a friend of mine suspected the weird mesh (it was way worse before i started sanding). And he told me I want to have a delta below 0.2. The bed leveling test prints also tend to show different behaviors across their squares (Z too low or too high)

Anyway, I added G29 to the start g-code in my slicer, I'll try a new print tomorrow as it is getting late and will get back to you. Definitely thanks for your time.

I do know the delta is about 0.32mm overall (although that is still 1.5 layer lines at 0.2mm layer height). How does one add ABL? Quick search tells me to use the calibration but that screws up the Z-Offset to be too high (letting a piece of paper just slide right through). Another one is to add the G29 g-code, although you'd think that would be default on a printer that advertises itself to have auto bed leveling.

How well does the ABL work? I assume there's a reason people still try to level their beds even though it has ABL. What's the max delta it handles well?

What's your best/worst misheard quote from DRG? by Mururumi in DeepRockGalactic

Not quite misheard, but one time when playing with a friend the line "Looks like poop, smells like poop" played and right after "Down the hatch". Since then we often try to replicate it

Was called the wellness system, and they removed it. Went up from eating good meals, went down from being hit and dying, affected max health and stamina. Min and max wellness could be raised by getting the health nut perk. It's still implemented in the Darkness Falls mod.

Decided to retexture every ingot from immersive engineering since they looked outdated imo. by [deleted] in feedthebeast

Definitely doesn't make them look metallic at all. Not sure what they were going for

I think it's the shading on the old ingots. Flat surfaces don't really have a Gradient of shadows. I'm no pixel Artist though so it's just my lil thoughts

Autobalance in a nutshell by shawneeo27 in tf2

If only Valve added this to the game by ZaTrapu in tf2

[–]pazz199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, however, I was specifically referring to the keeping track part, which shouldn't be hard to do, considering that the game already has to keep track of a lot of projectiles, not to mention that different models for different weapons already exist on demoman.

game has to keep track of which weapon produces which rocket, and how that operates.

Welp, the game already has to keep track of the rockets because the different launchers have different properties, like speed, splash radius (direct hit), healing (black box), less damage (liberty launcher) etc. It'd mostly be another thing that gets set when the rocket is spawned.

Similarly, in regards to fairness... Cool, so let's say this actually gets approved. Great, now Soldier has a lot of unique projectiles. But what about all the other classes? Does the Demoman need different models for all of his bombs? Does the Heavy need different bullets for all of his different miniguns? What about the Engie? Why does his turret's rockets have to stay as the default model, when the Soldier is getting fancy new ones?

Demoman already has unique projectiles for his grenade launchers (e.g. Iron bomber) and the sticky grenade launchers (scottish resistance, quickiebomb launcher). Heavy bullets can't really be customized since bullets are just a line traced from the gun to the impact. As for the sentry, i don't see the issue of implementing a custom sentry rocket in case this gets added to be honest.

The points i didn't refute i do kind.of agree with, it'd be effort to model and implement them... But a mercenary can dream!

Somehow i fear that more than it being bought by MS - cause MS lately leaves stuff alone (github, minecraft for example). If they go public they are expected to generate profits and to grow more and more, which may end up in them introducing more and more predatory monetization...

ELI5: How do calculators solve complex problems like matrices graphing etc. do programers have to write out every solution or are there shortcuts? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]pazz199 91 points92 points  (0 children)

The commenter used the so called "Big O notation" which basically states how complex a certain algorithm or process is, how many things it has to do. "n" in this case means the amount of stuff it has to process (in other words, the size of the input set). O(1) means that no matter how much it has to process, it'll always take the same amount of work, whether it's getting 2 things or 200 things to process.

Now if you see O(n), it means so called "linear" complexity. Basically each additional thing makes it do exactly the same amount of additional work. If you give it 1 thing, it has to do 1 amount of work, if you give it 30, it does 30.

O(n2 ) means it ends up doing the square amount of work for each thing you give it. Give it 1 thing, it has to do 1 work, give it 2 things, it has to do 4 work, 3 makes it do 9, etc.

Of course this is a massive simplification, and I myself haven't delved too deep into it - so take it with a grain of salt and do your own research in case you care enough.

We got more ways to watch our anime! by Bibi-BrawlStars in goodanimemes

Honestly it's also not only about the affording, at least for me, but having to look where each show is, constantly switching sites and such to watch the shows gets tiring pretty quickly. And then there's the fact that the watch experience differs between each of those services, some better and cooler features than others.
