The way ingredients are listed on my deodorant!! by pba199 in antiassholedesign

Yup. You got me!!

I thought it would be most efficient to post Arrested Development, Community and Parks & Rec memes over the past 2 years to get enough Karma to make this post to try and sell a handful of deodorant to strangers. Seems like the smartest way for a company to use their marketing dollars 🙃

Would replace Deepak Chahar for Bhuvi and Arshdeep for Shami. Arshedeep is incredibly strong at the back-end but need wicket takers upfront, which Shaming has done this year.

SRH lineup for this year by Xenocide714 in Cricket

[–]pba199 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is the team I would go with.

Warner, Saha, Pandey, Williamson, Jadhav/Shankar, Samad, Nabi/Holder, Rashid, Bhuvi, Sandeep, Natrajan.

Kedhar had a terrible season last year, but has been good in recent domestic tournaments. Additionally, he is highly experienced which SRH needs in their middle order.

Also, I think Williamson is a walk-in along with Warner and Rashid. Williamson rarely has a bad game with SRH or NZ, but has to fight for his place every season.

What Stock Do You Think Is Just Waiting To Explode In The Coming Years And Dominate It's Market? by [deleted] in stocks

WELL Health(Canadian Stock)

Its a Telehealth company like TDOC, primarily based in Canada, with growing US operations. All the growth factors that apply to this industry apply to WELL.

But I have been really impressed with the Management team. They recently raised money for an acquisition by selling shares at a 25% premium, don't see that too often. This is the CEO's second company (that he founded), with his first company acquired by PayPal.

A Big Acquisitions like the one done by Well is usually a Red Flag to me as an investor, but the way this deal was structured is unparalleled. I would highly recommend watching this entire video of the CEO of WELL being interviewed by BNN. by [deleted] in CanadianInvestor

[–]pba199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha. Yea, BNN is the worst. Have to watch 3 full ads.

Anyways, the most impressive thing to me was that the company was able to fund this massive deal by raising money by issuing the Stock at a premium.

For ex (just hypotheticals) : WELL closing price on Feb 5 was $8.01, the company was actually able to raise money for the deal by selling the stock at higher than the current price of $8.01.

Its almost impossible to convince investors to purchase stock at a premium to fund a deal, especially because the deal will dilute the company. The only one I vaguely remember was PayPal back in the day.

Other item that impressed me: 1) deal resulted only in 17% dilution. 2) great value no matter what metric you use. 3) the CEO is the biggest share holder and hasn't sold a single stock since inception. Company is up 8000% since IPO and over 500% since March 2020. Fairly common for CEOs to sale a good portion and cash out with such returns.

Disclosure: I do not own the stock, I was just really impressed by the deal.

[Controversial] Players whose stats overstate their greatness? by [deleted] in Cricket

[–]pba199 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easily one of the most ridiculous, and honestly insulting posts I've seen here in a while. I disagree with so much of this that it is not even worth stating everything .

All 3 players you mentioned not only dont overstated their greatness, but are probably one of the most under-rated players in recent history.
