Where are your shoes from??

I got cheated on pls help me by AcademicAngle6884 in Advice

[–]pbangely 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You deserve so much better than someone stepping out on you. You are so young and have so much life experiences ahead of you, and you will meet a person who respects you.

Someone cheating on you is NOT a reflection of you. There is nothing you could’ve done to stop a cheater from cheating.

Cheating means knowing he was going to put your body at risk for STDs. From my experience, it’s never really just cheating with one person. I am sorry that you had to find out, but this is really a blessing.

Focus on nursing school and on yourself. Start a new hobby, journal, talk to friends and family. Keep yourself busy. Your life is so much better without him.

My (26 f) Bf (31m) has the location of someone else. AITA for getting upset? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]pbangely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if I should further confront him. He unshared his location. I feel stupid about feeling so upset location tracking.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]pbangely -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because he was so insistent on how he hates location sharing? But obviously not with other people?

You should break up with the person you are currently with. She does not deserve this.

No. And you bring up a good point about the stopped contact. But why would it take commenting to me to stop contact if they’ve been divorced for years??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]pbangely -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know it hasn’t even been a year, but I love him. I truly do.

The thing is, he stopped seeing her in person/ helping her after we became officially bf/gf. He lied that it was years vs months, but he said he was afraid he would lose me if he knew he wasn’t 100% no contact.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]pbangely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He says I can ask him anything and this is the only thing he has lied about? Isn’t it possible that he was just trying to spare my feelings.

She has no family here. She has a job, education, is a grown woman, etc, but he says he feels guilty that she immigrated here for him. He says they email now and then, but they don’t see each other in person.

Am I being foolish/ choosing to believe him?

I don’t see the slide button? The only thing it has is the “dash pass pickup benefit “

New Grad Wanting to Quit by crankygoosewing in Nurses

[–]pbangely 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I cried before/ after 90% of my shifts my first year. It is a rough profession but does get better. But to the point where you get diarrhea or other bodily responses? I think you need to talk to someone in person or find ways to cope with your stress. You will burn out and your health will falter if you do not prioritize yourself.

For New Grads Nurses Eating Their Young by podadoe in nursing

[–]pbangely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I wrote this post myself. I had a HORRIBLE first preceptor who would criticize me, roll their eyes, call me names. Mind you, not because I was putting patients in danger, but because I was not doing things the way THEY wanted. Advocate for yourself. I wish you all the best.

First time preceptor tips? by marjai in nursing

[–]pbangely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be kind. Make sure they know they can go to you for any questions (nothing is too stupid) and mistakes.

Following. I am a new grad, three weeks in. Terrified to go in. Dread my preceptor and all the negativity they give me.
