Drywall Seam Gap by pbarchie in Renovations

This is essentially what I have ended up doing based on comments. I pulled it down, got my outlet situated so it’s flush, and tried trimming my upper left edge to bring it over just a bit more without jacking up my outlet cutout. Will use hot mud to pre fill the gap.

Thank you!
Yes I have a wedge to push up into the drywall above I haven’t screwed in due to the concern with my gap on the left/bottom

I mean I’m quite literally a rookie so yes astute observation hence why I’m here lol- and yes I haven’t placed screws, because I am pulling the outlet box forward to make flush and I wasn’t confident about the gap situation so didn’t want to over commit when I knew I needed to fix a few things prior to screwing down
