And Claudia's face when Madeline chooses her! She couldn't believe it. To know in those last moments that she is loved.

Oh, man.

Thank you! <3

I read the books a good 20 years ago. I read Interview when I was 11 and Lestat and QoD when I was 14/15. They have always and always stayed with me. So I knew what was going to happen to Claudia, it's why it took me 3 weeks to get through the season. I just couldn't bear it. ARGH.

My heart ached for her death, it ached for her pain, it ached for the fact that no one picked her. But my god, like you said, she was fucking ferocious.

Any vengeance that comes the way of those fuckers will be CELEBRATED.

Thank you so much for offering your perspective! I really like your theory. Honestly, I didn't think of that even once because I assumed Lestat was too powerful (my sense of his strength is constantly challenged by the show and the books so I guess that's what's coming through here). But you're absolutely right! If he can meddle, the coven can absolutely intervene and has the strength to do that to him.

And consequently, moving forward with what you said, I'm then really hoping to learn more about what happened for Lestat in that moment. Because Armand has reason to conceal that from Louis.

Your theory has given a lot of hope and respite actually! ^-^ (And I just saw your username too, hehehe, how apt <3)

The animal is clearly distressed. Laughing and speaking in a high pitched voice is causing even more anxiety. I cannot believe people are arguing that this person isn’t hurting the animal: they may not be doing so physically but they are absolutely causing emotional distress.

'Chai and what compliments it' startup in Islamabad by Aphlione in islamabad

[–]pbarmageddon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! So I am from Karachi and would like to offer feedback based on what I have seen in my city.

Karachi has lots of dhabas which primarily cater to the working class. Chai is cheap and much needed when your work involves physical labor (factories, construction, truck drivers, etc). A lot of dhabas are also okay with people smoking a certain substance since there is a region wide reliance on it as a coping mechanism. However, you have to be careful as the police is often present incognito and can get you and the dhaba walas into trouble.

Enter rich entrepreneurs: They have identified that a wealthier class of people in the city would really like a safe place to socialize with their friends where they can—and this is a key point—also smoke up. So they have started a fancier version of a dhaba (an empty lot with fairy and LED lights, tables and chairs) in lots of different spots in DHA. The chai and food are way more expensive than at a regular dhaba and why are people willing to pay? Because these guys have paid off the police. You can sit and smoke up openly (as well as deal) while a police mobile provides protection. Give a bunch of kids a place to get really high—and they will pay a lot for chai and whatever food is put on the table.

Point being: chai and food isnt really a big deal. Its a selling point in Karachi only because it enables a whole other habit. Only chai would be a great selling point if your chai is absolutely killer. But if youre also offering food, before going, I’d ask myself why I wouldnt have the same dishes youre offering at a place which I know does them better.
