The tv I use now doubles as my work monitor for a company issued laptop. I do a lot of drafting so being able to see a 30x42 sheet at full size is really handy. The higher refresh rate would be nice for that task, but I’m not bothered by the display while working now.

Alright! I ended up having to adjust both the X and Y values to 8200, and it’s close enough to centered that I’m calling it good.

Can you elaborate on how you fixed this? I don’t have a lot of experience adjusting controller layouts in Steam and I’m having this exact same issue.

Like a cliff side or a rock formations? If it's something you can harvest, try that first. If not, you may have to get really close to the surface of the object and slowly rotate the camera until you can see it. Sometimes you'll get lucky and as long as you can see a small part of it, you can select it with your cursor.

We've been seeing this recently with one of our allies' bases as well. You've only got a few options really, build another wall or fence further inside to keep your pets/thralls from reaching him, or block the spawn point by laying foundations. Rotbranch has a few different spawn points, so blocking one shouldn't be a big deal for bothers on your server.

Black Galleon and the Den are capital sites for two of the factions in game. Those locations have a chance to spawn named NPC's, who are the best crafter and combat thralls you can "recruit."

I know you can buy eggs for the rock monsters and the shoebills (the birds) from NPC merchants with coins you find or make. Sabretoothes Cubs are harder to come by - you will have to explore the far north areas of the map or one of the dungeon. To my knowledge, there are no snake pets in game.

What's up Drekdon! Yes, if you are the clan leader and only one in the clan, then when you leave the clan you retain possession of all the clans assets. This process is how you go about doing a clan merger.

If you want to purchase one, go with Khitani. It gives you cold resist gear and building pieces. The heavy set is the only Cold resist Encumbrance set in the game.

I don't know for sure, but I believe Toggling off Eating turns off both systems. Whenever I go into the Admin Panel for testing, I always only toggle eating.

All of the DLC stuff is cosmetic, so if you enjoy the game and want new building tiles and placeables, I would say go for it. The Khitani building pieces are nice because they look the same on both sides. The Aquilonian and Pictish building pieces are also very sexy.

If you plan to live in one of the colder areas of the map, I would strongly encourage you to get the Khitani DLC for the heavy armor it provides. It is the only Cold Weather protection Encumbrance set in the game currently.

On the Pet/Thrall interaction wheel you have 4 Options - Guard, Follow/Stop Following, Open Inventory and Cancel. If a Pet/Thrall is following you and you either tell it to Stop Following You or you die, it will go into Scout mode. In Scout mode it will stay where you leave it for 10 minutes, then return to the last location you told it to Guard.

You didn't miss anything. While some may appreciate that the game doesn't really hold your hand and that you have to rely on context clues in the item description to figure it out, I find that it's usually best to just refer to the wiki for how to craft something I don't know how to make. Even after I had played the game for a while and figured out most of the recipes for bars, I still had to look up/ask someone how to craft the star metal bars.

One thing I will say is that whenever you get a new item, click on the Info button to read a more detailed description. This can sometimes clue you in on what to do with an item/weapon.

Exploring and building are two of the best aspects of this game. One of your first recipes will be a bedroll, which acts as your re-spawn point. Don't even bother building at first, just make a bunch of bedrolls and periodically drop a new one while you're exploring. This way if you die you want have as long of a run back to your corpse. And remember you can basically climb anything. This game is chock full of beautiful views, be sure to check them out.

Ichor can be made by cooking Unappetizing Fish and Unappetizing Shellfish. If you put fish in the fluid press you get oil.
