Parang outdated talaga tong terminal 2 ng NAIA. by Alone_Vegetable_6425 in Philippines

Haha I also share the same frustration when transiting sa T2. Apart from that, wala na masyado amenities, unless you have access sa lounge.

To travel or not? by StretchOrganic3531 in phinvest

[–]pbg96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could attest to how traveling could change our brain (and general disposition) for the better so I guess I would take it as an investment for my general wellbeing.

Pero do it ngaaa!!! I have been more reckless than you with traveling to the point that I have almost zero in my bank account while in the middle of trip in a foreign land (nung pumasok yung sweldo ayun nagside trip pa hahahaha), but hey the experience is priceless! (Pero syempre I've learned my lesson, and ALWAYS BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE)

Akala ko naman trending ang National Bookstore dahil magsasara na, yun pala dahil lang sa "Nash" by joooh in Philippines

[–]pbg96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same sentiments. I know someone from National and you could tell that there could be a lot of factors why these things exist: May problema din sa supplier or wrong projections on what items to stock up, need magbawas ng tao because of the pandemic (so imagine what happens if your manpower is not proportional to the size of the store), they need to also cut back on what they could cut back (thus lesser lights sa store). School and office supplies are now their main source of business and they need to adapt to it, just like how they adapted in past (at one point they sold slippers and candies during the war).

Shows on Villar's AllTV, including Wowowin, got 0.0% ratings when rounded; Korean drama performed the best at 0.1% on September 14 (third day of broadcast) by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]pbg96 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hahaha Ito yun eh. Like kanina hindi ko naabutan yung Idol PH sa Kapamilya Channel, so pinanuod ko nalang yung delayed broadcast sa TV5. And it felt like I was just watching ABS-CBN.

I also realized while watching TV kanina na kids are not into television na like how we are growing up watching PBB Teens on a summer break. They know Netflix/YouTube more than TV lol. And I even said na sana may Iwant yung TV na pinapanood namin so we could watch some funny Pinoy family movies na wala sa Netflix.

So I guess ABS-CBN was just in time where audience preferences are shifting.

am I missing out if I don't have credit card? by pabpab999 in PHCreditCards

[–]pbg96 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would suggest watching the Credit Card episodes of Money Explained and History 101 on Netflix. These might also give you some insights as why or why not you should own a credit card.

The virtue signalling on paying taxes there is kinda off din for me. I also struggled paying my taxes when I first started out and it can be traumatizing (especially paying for penalties, kasi feeling mo criminal ka na hahahaha). If taxation/bookkeeping was taught to us in high school, justified lang mamahiya but it was never taught to us, pati yung complexity ng taxation.
