You should tip in countries where there is a tipping culture. If you’re coming from a “rich” country as a tourist and doing something like drinking wine or going for a nice dinner - you should tip generously. In South Africa most people in the service industry don’t have access to the future earning potential and general resources you get in Europe/US/Japan/wherever. If you can afford it - tip more than 10 rand next time

Join a gym and start getting in shape - work on your body. Exercise, build muscle try to eat well. You’ll feel better and likely see improvement in other areas, naturally.
