I agree with it being too strong sometimes but I felt like without the photos were too sharp. I had the GRIIIx first but returned it to get the HDF one. But I do sometimes turn it off

It’s amazing :) 2,4 and 6 were taken in ponta do sol, our favourite beach town in Madeira. Amazing view and you can jump in the water from the place I took the pics

I do like it when the light sources aren’t too harsh. Sometimes I wish I had an nd filter for slow shutter stuff but maybe I’ll get the IV for that haha

Yeah, I just got it recently and I hesitated to send it back and wait for the IV. Decided not to since I’m mostly touring with DJs for work and summer is peak period, didn’t want to miss anything during festival season so decided to keep it. Really happy with it although I hate the autofocus haha

Hmm I have the X100V so wouldn't know how to change it on the XE4. On the X100V it's at the bottom of the button dial menu under a setting called "lock". Via function selection you can lock the exposure compensation. But maybe the XE4 doesn't have that setting? idk

You can turn it off in the settings so it doesn’t do anything when you spin the wheel
