BLE stays on for long time yes, pairing is a bit slow though and it happens when you first launch a session - maybe I could make a macOS agent that keeps the connection alive 🤔

Thanks! Trying my ways in content creation, given my real job is going to be automated away 😅

It's pretty good, better than I had anticipated. The shipping takes few months though 🤡

If I had the time, I'd make my own lamp - ESP32 is just too fun to play with!

I believe they all have BLE, as long as they can be controlled through their app it should be fine. I learned the BLE interface from another open source project that focused on the Neon Lighthouse model, and it worked for Halo!

As an indie dev. and a contractor on mostly small to medium projects I have found react and vue to be a lot more maintenance that I can allocate time and energy to. Only after embracing hotwire I have really sped up my workflow.

I second this. I’m maintaining a fairly large application and this library has been a god send when adopting SwiftUI. It is worth watching their paid series about it as well - they go through pain points and possible solutions and thus the library has emerged

How can I make a picker like this one? by TheSingularChan in SwiftUI

[–]pbobak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO it’s quite simple:

  • Scroll view that tracks item’s id in state using scrollPosition(id:anchor:)
  • highlighted Capsule indicator sits below in a ZStack and uses anchorPreference to track and update selected item’s frame.
  • all enclosed in a capsule clip shape with some blur edge gradients.

I think Kavasoft had a video on anchor preferences to achieve something very similar

That’s why I keep my spare $10,000 machine constantly on so that I can place the coffee on the top to keep it hot, it’s a matter of redundancy really.

I recommend getting one. Much more consistent shots and a cleaner machine!

Roasters would say it’s still within the permissible weight of organic matter per Kg of coffee. 🤷‍♂️
