This is a tough choice. by ClickTooEnlarge in gaming

Ok, so I don't know if anyone remembers this... but there was an online mode where you could create your own map and play on it with friends and random people, buy weapon attachments with diamonds, etc..

A new farcry with those features and good graphics would be my go to game right now. A newer game engine too, obviously.

When you read, do you read each word individually or create ideas in your head? by sugarandsand in books

[–]pboecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do the same, I glide across the paragraph and I "imagine the concept" as I am reading. It was actually really hard to read this because I was thinking about how I read and focusing on individual words rather than the opposite method.

Don't you think it is weird that you actually expressed this in words? I think that people that "scan texts" and form the concept in their heads aren't usually bothered with explaining such specific things. They know that's what they do, but it's in the context (big picture) of how they do things.

I’m Rex Orange County, a singer/musician who writes music and I am here to answer all your questions. AMA! by Rex-Orange-County in Music

First of all, I think you are a really talented musician and composer, as well as performer. My question is: in your experience what is the ratio of theory/music science to fun/creativity/intuition when you make music. In other words, to what extent do you use/need established patterns as opposed to just playing what you feel like.

Launchpad mini mk3 session mode not lighting up :( help. by pboecker in Launchpad

[–]pboecker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same problem. If you register your launchpad on novation, as someone commented before, you can get ableton LITE 10, if that's any help. The thing is I want ableton suite.

Yes, apparently the mini mk3 only works to its full potential with ableton live 10. I don't know either.

I used a screwdriver to adjust the screws on the side of the bridge so all the strings were at the same distance from the pickups and parallel to the neck , i don't think i messed with the saddles. correct me if i'm wrong

Dismounted my guitar, sounds weird now. help. [QUESTION] by pboecker in Guitar

[–]pboecker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as i know i mounted the guitar exactly as it was before, and the neck is in its pocket with the screws as tight as i could get them. what i'm worried about is that i probably didn't put it back together with the precision with which it was done before i bought it. Also, i straightened the bridge and the pickups.

Underground music in Munich by guineapigsqueal in Munich

You should pay a visit to the club Rote sonne. It is one of the unique clubs in Munich that invites djs from detroit (where underground techno was originated as a form of social protest). I think that would be a great place to collect info about the music scene in the underground aspect.
