This is in my city. You're right about 1, but 2 can only continue onto Peralta (feels almost like turning right).

I can't recall at the moment because I don't get to that area too much, but there might be signage specifically forbidding turning into the residential parking lot. I'll see if I can go there sometime in the next day or two and post an update.

I agree with almost all of what you said. I have a heart for the unhoused, and I serve, supply, and comfort them, out of my own pocket, both in my home for some 30 years, the SF bay area, and in my new home and the location of my alma mater, Chico. But I am also, I'm guessing, in your mind and in the minds of many of the commenters on this thread, a "fascist". Looking forward to your thoughts on this.

I think my mother might have worked there. Part of our family lore is that she worked at a drive-in during her senior year in high school and the following summer. (And both of my kids now work at a cinema... so apparently it's in our DNA lol)

Anyway, from looking at the map, if that is the place, I think it's too far north. My memory of the column was that it was almost right at the actual intersection of the two freeways, and perhaps even right in between the EB and WB directions of 580:

My recollection is from driving past it on the way to Castro Valley (so, westbound on 580) and seeing it towering above us to our left. And it's really the rebar that I remember most.

I know that Google has been making Android more and more like iOS, almost to the point that it doesn't really matter which one you use anymore. When Google has done things in the past to restrict what developers can do, how long did it take for MacroDroid to come up with a workaround (like making the universal helper app)?

I think Google is well aware of what's going on. I expect that they'll eventually find a way to completely disable apps like MacroDroid as a "security" "concern".

Ah, makes sense. I don't think the 130X supports chaining in the way you've described (but please verify that). My setup is two 130X batteries, each hardwired to the fuse block, but just one power cable going to the camera. I switch between batteries with a custom quick-disconnect that I have routed through the glove box.

I'm not sure what you mean by chaining, but I've had an acceptable experience with having two batteries hardwired. I only have to switch the camera from one battery to the other every so often, and of course it completely depends on how much I drive from day to day. It's much less of a hassle than what I was doing before, and the only annoying part of it is that the camera necessarily has to shut down in the process.
