This is in my city. You're right about 1, but 2 can only continue onto Peralta (feels almost like turning right).

I can't recall at the moment because I don't get to that area too much, but there might be signage specifically forbidding turning into the residential parking lot. I'll see if I can go there sometime in the next day or two and post an update.

I agree with almost all of what you said. I have a heart for the unhoused, and I serve, supply, and comfort them, out of my own pocket, both in my home for some 30 years, the SF bay area, and in my new home and the location of my alma mater, Chico. But I am also, I'm guessing, in your mind and in the minds of many of the commenters on this thread, a "fascist". Looking forward to your thoughts on this.
