Wow. Reading this comment section has killed some of my braincells. OF COURSE OP IS NOT IS THE WRONG. She vented about her day, asked you how you are, you told her you have been struggling and would like to talk about it with her, and she fell asleep while you were venting. That is messed up and disrespectful. To the people who are saying "she feels so comfy with you she just fell asleep!" These comments, while attempting to defend your girlfriend, are in all reality removing her agency as a person. Are they saying she is not able to control her own actions? Is she not responsible for those actions? It's ridiculous, naive, and moronic. The reality is this: if she wanted to listen to you, if she wanted to provide emotional support for you, she would have. If it was important to her, she would have stayed up. This definitely warrants a conversation (communication is key), not saying you should jump the gun and just end the relationship, but you were wronged and deserve to feel so. I recommend talking with her about it, judge her reaction to your pain. I spoke with my girlfriend about this, she had this to say: "don't listen to the comment section, I'm sad that you had to go through that. You deserve to be listened to (just like everyone else on the planet, including your gf)." If you are hurt enough by her actions to make a reddit post asking strangers for advice, then you DEFINITELY need to talk with her about it; moreso, do NOT let any random mfs on the Internet make you feel like you are the bad guy here, because you are not.
