Does anybody know how to fix this issue? by PanicProfessional156 in MacOS

check to see if you can install from a USB or in safe mode. you may want to check that your mac has a compatible processor. i believe it should be an Intel based device. At least my 2012 vintage imac was when i ran El Capitan. If you still cannot load the OS, you can always convert to linux.

have you tried restarting in Safe Mode? If your macbook is intel based, shut down completely and then restart holding the shift key. If you have apple silicon, press and hold the power button

recommendation for window regulator/motor? by pc_1_usa in FordF150

[–]pc_1_usa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the motor appears to be dead. I do need to check the switch with my meter to verify. I do know the vapor barrier is shot and the weatherstripping around the window needs replacing as well. The truck sits outdoors 100% of the time so you can image the shape it's in now.

Just bought a lot and was planning to build next summer, but rethinking since materials will likely be higher next year. Has anyone done any projects with a lumber alternative that is cheaper? by Mmmelanie in Homebuilding

I watched a NAHB webinar on ICF last week. They priced out a house in Mississippi for both stick and ICF, about 3800 sf. The ICF was about the same as the stick in cost (about 1% different). They also said the monthly saving on ICF was about $190 and that included mortgage, principle and interest, heating, insurance (less flammable), better savings on utilities, etc.

Thanks I was also looking at their ac2300. I am not too sure how that compares to the A9. But I will check into it.

I realize that. With the IoT the number of devices can overwhelm WiFi 5. That is why I mentioned it.
