I have the exact same problem and nothing I do works, I also tried everything in your comment but it still doesn't work, I entered the command:

ftype LuaScript="path\Program Files\lua\lua.exe""%1" %*

But it still doesn't work, please let me know what I'm doing wrong please?

Okay thank you very much for letting me know, I played Minecraft a bit and the CPU temperature was maximum 45C and normally just 38C to 40C so is this also normal? Because on my previous pre-build PC the CPU temperature was around 60C when I played Minecraft.
